Vista

I built this one in layers which was wildly satisfying.

Vista is 500 pieces of one of Liberty’s archive florals. I always do the border first, so I sorted edges from everything else and started there — which meant the hardest stretch came first, with basically nothing but shape to go on, and the whole floral middle was still waiting at the end.

Best possible order for this puzzle. The work got easier and the picture got better the entire way in.

Trust

The border really killed me on this one. Too many same-color pieces that fit in more than one spot. When a piece is the true fit you know it, but for the last few placements I had two or three options and no way to tell if I was right until a connecting piece either went in or didn’t. The interior was the opposite — every piece obvious. Thankfully.

The Click

This one isn’t the most audible. The unambiguous pieces give you the confident click you want, but plenty of them go in quiet. It does hold up very well once it’s together. I’ve built this one a few times and I always spend the first few minutes prying apart pieces that have been sitting linked in the box since the last time I dusted it off.

Flow

One of the best puzzles I’ve done for flow. Even with the ambiguous pieces, shape alone kept me moving on the border, and once I got to the florals in the center I was placing at warp speed. SO addicting. I almost finished it in a single sitting.

In the Hand

Not thick, but solid. Pieces didn’t fold and they held their shape. Nothing came apart when I caught the edge with my elbow reaching across for a piece.

Gorgeous, vibrant colors. The art came through clear as can be.

The Box

Obsessed with this box. It looks like a book on my shelf — it’s decor on its own. Sturdy, and it hasn’t worn over time. It comes with a small reference poster that was perfect for quick glances. I wish all my puzzles came in this box. If I had to nitpick: no resealable bag inside, but the box stays shut so I don’t really care.
